IFS HPC stands for ‘International Featured Standards Household and Personal Care’ and is a standard for ensuring the safety of products by manufacturers and vendors or household and body-care products all along the production chain. As part of this certification, the auditor checks whether various components of the quality- and risk-management system are documented, implemented and continuously improved. IFS Broker is also designed to ensure that the gap between production and sales is closed. This creates comparability and transparency along the entire supply chain and sees to it that the goods delivered comply with the provisions of law and customer-specific requirements.
The preconditions for these certifications had been created in less than a year's time: responsibilities and processes were redefined, and company-wide risk management was developed further. But the efforts have paid off all down the line: the measures we are carrying out within the framework of the IFS HPC and IFS Broker certifications confirm the confidence consumers place in our safety – and exactly that is important to us.
